Each manufacturer warranty card, purchase receipt, service record, and related document undergoes meticulous examination to ensure the complete identity of the watch, eliminating any risk of questionable sourcing.
Physical Examination & Identity Verification
Our expert authenticators employ professional tools to meticulously inspect all external components of the timepiece, including the case, dial, hands, indices, crown, and bracelet. Simultaneously, we rigorously verify the serial numbers on the case, movement, and accessories, ensuring they match manufacturer records to rule out any possibility of counterfeiting or component substitution.
Movement Inspection & Function Testing
The heart of any timepiece—its movement—is central to our authentication process. Our master watchmakers carefully open the case to inspect the caliber model, originality of parts, degree of wear, and evidence of improper servicing. Using specialized equipment, we test timekeeping accuracy, power reserve, and evaluate all functions including water resistance, date transition, and chronograph operations (where applicable), ensuring exceptional performance.
Accessories Verification

Upon completing all authentication steps and confirming the timepiece fully meets EW Watches' stringent standards, we issue a dedicated EW Watches Certification Report. This document details the watch's condition, authentication results, and unique identifying characteristics, serving as your authoritative proof of authenticity and exceptional quality.
